I am an experienced Chinese teacher with 1.5 years teaching overseas students at Univeristy in China.
I started my teaching as a TA to my uni's language programme and then became a junior teacher helping children and adult with Chinese speaking and writing. I helped more than 30 students to pass the writing part of the HSK test. Throughout my teaching, I found there is an imbalance in Chinese teaching, which teachers pay more attention to the test itself, rather than make the language a tool to communicate. My teaching does not follow any language test model. I help my students to develop their Chinese based on systematically learn certain topics and combine them together.
