Through my experience working in the student accommodation sector, I regularly support students from a wide range of backgrounds as they navigate university life, independent living, academic pressure, and personal challenges. Through my experience working in the student accommodation sector, I regularly support students from a wide range of backgrounds as they navigate university life, independent living, academic pressure, and personal challenges. A large number of the students I work with are international students, which has given me valuable experience communicating with people from different cultures, backgrounds, and life experiences. I understand that moving away from home, adapting to a new environment, and balancing studies with personal wellbeing can sometimes feel overwhelming, and I’m passionate about creating a positive and supportive space where students feel comfortable, understood, and encouraged.

My lessons are designed to be relaxed, supportive, and tailored to each individual student’s needs and goals. Sessions take place online, allowing students to join from a comfortable environment where they can openly discuss any challenges they may be experiencing. I aim to create a friendly and non-judgemental atmosphere where students feel able to speak honestly, ask questions freely, and build confidence over time.

Rather than focusing purely on academics, my sessions are centred around personal growth, motivation, organisation, mindset, and wellbeing. Depending on the student’s needs, we may work on areas such as time management, study habits, creating healthy routines, goal-setting, stress management, confidence building, maintaining motivation, and improving focus and productivity.

I believe that every student is different, so I adapt my approach to suit each person individually. Some students may benefit from structured planning and accountability, while others may simply need encouragement, guidance, and someone to listen and help them regain confidence in themselves.

My goal is to help students feel more balanced, motivated, organised, and capable of achieving both their personal and academic goals, while also supporting their overall wellbeing and self-confidence along the way.
