Having previously tutored GCSE Maths and received tutoring myself throughout my GCSEs and A Levels, I feel that I have a strong understanding of what makes a tutoring session effective. Within my lessons, my aim will be to help you overcome any challenging topics or tasks you may be facing in your subjects.

My approach is to first gain an understanding of how much you already know about a topic and identify any areas you may be struggling with. From there, we can develop your understanding step by step until you feel confident and proficient. I believe that developing a strong understanding of a topic is essential for achieving high grades, as simply memorising content can only take you so far. Many exams require students to apply their knowledge to unfamiliar scenarios, so my aim is to help you understand the underlying concepts well enough to approach new and challenging questions with confidence.

I will adapt each lesson to the individual student, as I understand that everyone learns differently and may face different challenges. Lessons can focus on explaining difficult concepts, working through examples, practicing exam-style questions, and addressing any areas where you feel less confident.

My ultimate goal is not simply to help you find the answer, but to give you the understanding and confidence to tackle similar problems independently.
