I have 2+ years teaching students GCSE, A-Level and 11+. I specialise in maths and physics and have helped students comfortably go from 6s to 9s and Bs to A*s.
The thing I have found that helps students the most is a specialised and tailored lesson made fit to each student. I have spent my years of tutoring trying to perfect this method and I believe that I can deliver the best teaching experience for the students to help them achieve the best results possible without burning out.
As the saying goes, practice makes perfect and this applies to studies too! I make sure to teach my students clearly and effectively on topics with good examples and worked solutions. Then, I like to make sure that they understand what I am doing my making them talk through the method to solve the questions. And this is when I will then give them questions to try. This step will be structured so that as they go and get more confident, the questions will get harder and harder until they can solve the hardest GCSE or A-Level questions ever presented. This method has worked for all of my students consistently and effectively but it only works is the student is willing to learn and put in a little bit of time outside of lessons to perfect their craft.
