My math lessons are supportive, interactive, and tailored to students aged 10–15, including both native and non-native English speakers. I focus on creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
Each lesson follows a structured but flexible format. We begin by reviewing previous material to ensure understanding, then move on to new topics explained step by step using clear language, examples, and visual aids. We practice together before students attempt problems independently, helping them develop both understanding and confidence.
I place strong emphasis on explaining the why behind mathematical concepts, not just memorizing formulas or procedures. This approach helps students build solid foundations and apply their knowledge more effectively at school and in exams. For students who are not native English speakers, I adapt my explanations, simplify terminology, and rephrase ideas as needed to ensure full comprehension.
I am patient, encouraging, and attentive to each student’s individual pace and learning style. Lessons are adapted to support homework, reinforce school topics, prepare for tests, or strengthen core skills. My goal is to make math feel more logical, less intimidating, and ultimately more enjoyable, while helping students improve their academic performance and confidence in their abilities.
