I am a patient, encouraging English tutor with a strong academic background and experience working with children and young people in educational and structured settings. I hold a degree in English Literature and have worked in schools, as well as in roles that required clear communication, organisation, and adapting information to different audiences.
My lessons are calm, supportive, and structured. I focus on building confidence first, as this is often the key to progress in English. I take time to understand how each student learns and tailor lessons to suit their needs, whether that means improving reading comprehension, strengthening writing skills, developing vocabulary, or building foundational grammar.
I aim to make learning engaging and accessible rather than overwhelming. Lessons are broken down into manageable steps, with clear explanations and practical examples. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and express themselves without fear of making mistakes.
I am particularly suited to supporting primary-aged learners and early secondary students who may need extra guidance, reassurance, or help keeping up with schoolwork. I also work well with students who lack confidence or feel anxious about English.
My goal is to help students feel more capable and self-assured in their abilities, while steadily improving their skills through consistent, thoughtful teaching. I believe learning should feel safe, motivating, and empowering.
