I teach maths and/or science to under 16s. I use methodological ways for students to understand information and be able to retain it as well. My lessons would include explaining a topic, answering few questions together and then having the student work on some questions independently. I would then ask the student to explain and teach me on how to solve the problems. Once establishing what the student finds most difficult, I would spend a bit more time focusing on those topics. In the past, parents were ecstatic with the progression of their child after being taught by myself.
