I believe that every student learns differently, which is why I adapt my teaching style to suit the individual needs of each learner. Some students learn best through visual resources, while others benefit from discussion, repetition, practice exercises, or step-by-step explanations. I take the time to understand each student’s strengths and areas for improvement so that lessons are personalised and effective. My aim is not only to help students achieve better grades but also to build their confidence and develop a positive attitude towards learning.

I will be teaching students in English Literature, Italian (from beginner to advanced level), and Primary School Mathematics. My English Literature lessons are designed to support students who may be struggling with understanding novels, plays, poetry, and exam techniques. I can help students study texts such as A Christmas Carol and An Inspector Calls, guiding them through themes, characters, quotations, analysis, and essay writing skills to help improve both confidence and grades.

For Italian, I can teach students at all levels, whether they are complete beginners learning basic vocabulary and grammar or more advanced learners looking to improve their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning pace.

In Primary School Mathematics, I focus on building a strong foundation in key concepts while making learning enjoyable and easy to understand. I use clear explanations, practice questions, and interactive activities to help students develop confidence in their abilities.

During lessons, I encourage students to actively participate, ask questions, and engage with the subject rather than simply memorising information. I create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.

While I do not believe in overwhelming students with excessive homework, I provide meaningful practice tasks that reinforce what has been taught during lessons and allow students to track their progress. My goal is to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students can enjoy learning, ask questions freely, and reach their full academic potential.

As a Child Nursing student, I have developed strong communication, patience, organisation, and interpersonal skills through working with children and families from a variety of backgrounds. These skills allow me to build positive relationships with students and support them in achieving their academic goals. Above all, I strive to make lessons enjoyable, engaging, and rewarding so that students leave each session feeling more confident, motivated, and prepared for success.
