My English lessons are carefully designed to be interactive, enjoyable, and practical, with the aim of helping students build both confidence and skill in using the language. Each lesson begins with a warm-up activity, such as a short game, a song, or a simple conversation, to encourage students to feel comfortable and motivated. From there, we focus on a specific theme. For example, family, food, school, or daily activities so that new vocabulary and expressions are introduced in meaningful, real-life contexts. I make use of stories, pictures, and visual aids to support understanding, and I encourage students to practice speaking through pair work, group discussions, and role-play activities. Listening skills are developed through songs, short recordings, and interactive games, while reading and writing are introduced gradually, beginning with phonics and simple sight words before moving on to sentences and short texts.
To ensure steady progress, I include regular review and repetition in every lesson, while also providing opportunities for creativity through drawing, storytelling, and acting out everyday situations. This balance allows students to practice the four key skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing (in a natural and enjoyable way).
In terms of my background, I have previously volunteered as a teaching assistant, which gave me valuable experience in supporting children’s learning and understanding how to create a positive classroom environment. I have also studied English language at university and have recently graduated, which has provided me with strong subject knowledge and the ability to approach language teaching with both care and expertise. My overall goal is to create a supportive, dynamic environment where students not only learn English effectively but also enjoy the process of discovery.
