The first and most important step is setting achievable and time-bound goals - whether it is exam prep, essay writing, dissertation guidance, or simply getting a better grasp of psychology concepts. Psychology research states that there are no such things as (evidence-based) learning styles, but only learning strategies. I believe techniques such as spaced practice, retrieval practice and dual-coding must be accompanied by effective and organised planning of study sessions. I aim to improve learning in the long run while understanding the concepts quickly and dynamically.

I have an MA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Glasgow, where I was able to learn about subjects like cognitive, developmental, and social psychology. My degree equipped me with strong research methods skills, including R Studio and gave me the tools to succeed academically. I have also supported autistic individuals, taught them and reinforced skills to navigate their everyday life and established personalised methods of communication. At the Red Cross, I worked with children of various ages and assisted them with their individual learning needs.

I feel confident that my experience, psychology background and learning strategies knowledge will make your learning journey both stimulating and rewarding.
