My lessons are designed to be interactive, student-centred, and carefully adapted to the individual learner’s needs. I believe that mathematics becomes meaningful when students are given opportunities to explore, question, and solve problems, rather than simply memorising procedures. For this reason, I place a strong emphasis on creating and selecting problems that are appropriate for each student, gradually increasing the level of challenge while ensuring that they feel supported. This approach allows students to build confidence step by step, while also deepening their conceptual understanding.

In my tutoring experience with students in the USA curriculum, I found that tailoring problems to their current level of thinking significantly improved both their confidence and their assessment results. I use questioning, visuals, and interactive discussion to guide students toward clarity, encouraging them to explain their reasoning and reflect on their strategies. This not only helps them consolidate learning but also develops independent thinking and mathematical communication.

My academic training includes a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education (University of Bristol) and a double major in Mathematics and Education (Azim Premji University). This background allows me to combine strong subject knowledge with pedagogical insight. I have taught students across a range of contexts, including those with SEN/D, and supported them in achieving measurable improvements in their performance.

Each lesson is designed to be engaging, clear, and purposeful, balancing practice with exploration. Above all, my goal is to help students see mathematics as a subject they can understand, enjoy, and succeed in. I look forward to teaching you!
