Navin Kumar

Hello! My name is Navin, and I am a passionate and friendly maths tutor with a special focus on helping primary school children enjoy and succeed in maths. I know that for many young learners, maths can sometimes feel tricky or even overwhelming, but with the right guidance, every child can grow in confidence and discover that numbers aren’t so scary after all!

I offer one-to-one sessions tailored to each child’s needs, whether that’s reinforcing classroom learning, catching up on topics they find challenging, or stretching them further to reach their full potential. My lessons are interactive, encouraging, and always paced to suit the individual child. I use fun activities, games, and practical examples to make maths engaging and to ensure children really understand the “why” as well as the “how.”

As a tutor, my goal is not just to improve test scores, but to help children build a strong foundation in maths, develop problem-solving skills, and most importantly, gain confidence in themselves. I provide regular feedback to parents so you can see the progress your child is making and how we’re working towards their goals.
