I believe every student can succeed in Maths with the right approach. My aim isn't just to improve grades, but to help students genuinely understand the subject and gain the confidence to tackle unfamiliar problems independently.

Every lesson is tailored to the individual student, whether they're aiming to build confidence, catch up on classwork, prepare for the 11+, or achieve top GCSE grades. I take time to identify any gaps in understanding before building strong foundations, so students can make lasting progress instead of simply memorising methods.

My teaching style focuses on breaking difficult concepts into clear, visual explanations that make ideas easier to understand and remember. I encourage students to ask questions, think through problems for themselves, and develop logical problem-solving skills that they can apply to new situations.

Lessons are interactive, engaging, and adapted to each student's pace and learning style. We cover school topics, homework support, revision, exam technique, and plenty of practice with carefully chosen questions. I also provide constructive feedback after lessons so students know exactly what they're doing well and where they can improve.

Having recently completed my A Levels in Maths and Further Maths, I understand the challenges students face and the strategies that genuinely help. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and gradually becoming confident, independent learners. I want my students to leave each lesson feeling that Maths makes a little more sense than it did before.
