About me

My lessons are structured, supportive and highly personalised. I specialise in working with students with ADHD and different learning needs, so everything I design is built around clarity, engagement and confidence building.

My lessons are structured, supportive and highly personalised. I specialise in working with students with ADHD and different learning needs, so everything I design is built around clarity, engagement and confidence building.
For students with ADHD, I incorporate movement breaks, timed focus intervals and interactive discussion rather than long passive explanations. I vary activities to maintain engagement and use practical tools such as colour coding, mind maps and structured planning sheets. I also help students develop executive functioning skills, including planning assignments, organising ideas and managing deadlines.

My background includes postgraduate study at the University of Edinburgh and extensive experience in research, writing and mentoring. I have publications in international knowledge governance, policy and sustainability.
I have worked in advocacy and legal education roles, supporting individuals in complex learning environments, which has strengthened my ability to explain difficult concepts clearly and adapt to different communication styles.

Above all, my lessons are calm, encouraging and judgement free. Many students with different learning needs have experienced frustration or self doubt in traditional classrooms. My aim is to create a space where they feel understood, capable and supported, while still being challenged to grow.

Every student learns differently. My role is to help them discover how they learn best, and then give them the tools to succeed independently.
