Hi! I’m Tash.

As a person with dyslexia and major attention issues, like many students, I find concentrating and motivating myself difficult. Throughout sixth form I have had to pave my own way through, finding my own techniques to success. This is something I wish to inspire students with, as it is a vital life lesson I am lucky to have learned. I aim to create engaging lessons which will develop thoughts and fun ways to remember analogies, for all topics in Alevel AQA Psychology Paper 1 and paper 2, and the optional topics of Gender, Schizophrenia and Forensic Psychology.

I will use online powerpoints, quizzes, active recall techniques and weekly testing in order to track progress in each student as an individual, as teaching methods cannot be applied in the same way to each child (I have learned this the hard way, as being one of the children who couldn’t learn like everyone else). This way, I can achieve a good relationship with each learner, building trust and confidence in them in order to make growth happen, no matter what stage of the course they are in. I am always here to help and can offer strong help and advice where necessary, whether that is with knowledge or confidence boosting.

I cannot wait to embark on this journey of teaching and use my skills and help students in the way I wish I could’ve been helped.
