Hello! I aim to provide lessons centralised around specific problems that students may have in their subject areas, or just issues they need to work around! This can be structuring an essay, grammatical mistakes, understanding of literary techniques, or just wanting someone to proofread any creative writing (which I would love) in English. In terms of stylistic choices, I utilise the Oxford Comma, em dashes, and British English. However, as I lived in America for 8 years, I can easily accommodate American English if you are more comfortable with that instead.

For Mathematics, I can help with understanding techniques behind problems, how to approach different mathematical scenarios, and how to break down word problems. I can also check over any work you are unsure about!

I'm here mainly as a source of generating confidence in topics you are unsure or unfamiliar about. If you're not comfortable with a topic, I will aim to make it as comprehensible as possible before our tutor session. Please reach out to me about whatever you are struggling with! This way, we can both have a wonderful experience that will end with a wider understanding of whatever it is you are confused about.

My main experience is my internship in teaching younger children about Musical Theory for 1 year. Additionally, I achieved top marks in both English and Mathematics in the International Baccalaureate program, a prestigious program often regarded as having a high difficulty ceiling. I also scored highly in Business and Chemistry, both of which are topics with high amounts of overlap with English and Maths in terms of transferable skills. I am skilled at essay writing, and have written many long-form essays about various topics.

I am currently a History & Politics student at the University of Exeter, wherein I frequently research, plan, write, and submit longer essays that receive high scores.
