About me

I have been sewing for 45 years and in business since 2012. My passion is for teaching sewing skills to progress with the learners career or hobby development. Sewing is a lifeskill and should be practiced fully in the school curriculum. My lessons are structured, with lessons planned for group classes. One to one tuition is more learner led. I have been sewing for 45 years and in business since 2012. My passion is for teaching sewing skills to progress with the learners career or hobby development. Sewing is a lifeskill and should be practiced fully in the school curriculum. My lessons are structured, with lessons planned for group classes. One to one tuition is more learner led. Sessions are relaxed and informal, ensuring comfortable atmosphere for all. Everything from the basics up are taught. Along the journey we will learn from each other and maintain respectful interaction.
I have delivered many workshops and classes within the community, I even delivered a program to jobcentre plus clients, as well as a skills boot camp at a local city college .
Currently I am half way through a 12 week sewing course for mindfulness and wellbeing, this is free to local residents of the venue.

Really enjoyed the sewing course. Natalie has lots of great ideas and is passionate about getting people into sewing. She really encourages you to progress and it’s surprising what you learn on this course. The sewing studio is lovely too.

Natalie is so welcoming, inclusive and patient. We are absolute beginners and she has taught us so much in just a few weeks. We have so much more confidence. I love the fact that Natalie is keen to impart her knowledge and is helping us so much by teaching us the right way so we can really build on firm foundations! She is also ambitious for us so we quickly move onto testing new skills in projects. I’d highly recommend Natalie and there are lots of laughs too!
