I'm a student in my second year of university studying mathematics. I am a driven and friendly person who likes to work with people. I have been tutoring part-time for four years, specialising in STEM. I enjoy teaching fellow students as it allows me to talk about subjects I'm passionate about and help them discover their interests by having a clearer understanding of the topics. This experience has made me understand that each student works at different paces and thrives with varying teaching methods; hence it is essential to adapt to facilitate learning.

My lessons don't have a rigid structure since a tailored lesson plan works better from my experience. Generally, each session has three main objectives: recall and show a strong understanding of the previous topic, receive feedback on homework to solidify knowledge, and introduce and practice the new topic. I always leave time for questions and ensure we do not rush to move on unless the topic is clear.
