I offer personalised one-to-one online tutoring in GCSE English Language and A Level English Language & Literature. My lessons are tailored to suit each student’s needs, helping them build confidence, improve exam performance, and develop a deeper understanding of language and literature.

Each session is structured but flexible, beginning with a short warm-up activity followed by a focused exploration of key skills or content. We work closely with past paper questions, model responses, and examiner feedback to develop strong analytical and writing techniques. Whether you’re preparing for unseen extracts, struggling with comparison tasks, or working on original writing, I provide clear, targeted support to help you make progress.

For GCSE English Language, I cover all aspects of Paper 1 and 2, including comprehension, analysis, creative and transactional writing. At A Level, I support students with language frameworks, child language acquisition, language change, and original writing, as well as close reading, context, and comparative analysis of literature texts.

I bring several years of experience working with a diverse range of learners and understand how to adapt my teaching style to suit different abilities and goals. My sessions are engaging, encouraging, and focused on building independent thinking and clear expression — essential not only for exams but for academic and personal growth.
