Nanami Mizoshita

As a student, I encountered a range of teachers: inspirational and encouraging ones and of course, the ones who made me feel stupid for not being able to understand. The former kind of teachers made the subject exciting to learn, and I have grown to hate the subjects taught by the latter.
As an adult, now I love all the subjects I teach and I still learn some on my own. As a private tutor, I want to help my students love what we talk about. Students spend a bulk of their time in school, so why not love what you do?

My teachings are designed specifically tailored for each client, and hence I have a quota for the number of students I teach simultaneously to ensure my courses are designed and prepared sufficiently. Currently I have 2 spaces left for this academic year.
Hence, depending on the curriculum (IB, GCSE, application), attitude of the student, and pace of progress, my teaching method varies.
Yet, my core value is to develop independent critical thinking which is a skill I nurtured in Oxford.
