Hi there! I am Namal, an experienced maths tutor passionate about helping students build confidence and master mathematical concepts. Whether you’re preparing for GCSE/A-level exams or catching up on classwork, I will tailor each lesson to your goals and learning style. I would like to share my academic and professional background - I obtained A*-A in all subjects in my IGCSEs in 2011 and AAAB at A-Level including Mathematics and Further Mathematics. I obtained a degree of BSc. (Hons) Mathematics from King’s College London and then completed my PGCE Mathematics at UCL IOE. Maths has always been my favourite subject and I cherish the process of teaching it to others. I have been fortunate enough to have taught in Ofsted Outstanding secondary schools and sixth forms in London for the past 7 years. I have been tutoring for 10+ years now - I have tutored many GCSE and A level maths students as well as those studying in year 7, 8 and 9, all of them have attained their target grades. I have received good feedback from all of my students. I put huge emphasis on the needs of my students, so I always have discussions with them about their ideal lesson and what they want from me as their tutor. I highly value the opinion of my students and my lessons are more of a teamwork so that my students feel more involved and valued. I always motivate my students through offering them praise, encouragement and feedback. With interactive lessons, clear explanations, and plenty of practice, I will help you understand why maths works — not just how to do it.
