I am a qualified teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have two years of classroom experience working with students of varying abilities, backgrounds, and learning needs. Throughout my teaching career, I have developed a strong understanding of how students learn best and how to adapt my approach to ensure every learner feels supported and challenged. I have experience teaching mixed-ability groups and providing targeted support to students who require additional guidance, as well as extension opportunities for those who are ready to progress further. This experience has strengthened my ability to identify individual strengths while addressing areas of weakness in a constructive and confidence-building way.

My key qualities as a teacher include patience, adaptability, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to student success. I pride myself on creating a positive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. I understand that confidence plays a crucial role in academic progress, so I work hard to build trust and motivation in every learner I support.

In terms of teaching methods, I use a structured yet flexible approach tailored to each student’s needs. This includes breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, using clear explanations and examples, and regularly checking understanding through targeted questioning. I differentiate lessons to suit individual learning styles and use ongoing assessment and feedback to guide progress and adjust instruction where necessary. I also place a strong emphasis on developing independent learning skills, problem-solving strategies, and exam or assessment confidence. Through my experience as a QTS teacher, I have developed effective, engaging teaching practices that support consistent progress and help students reach their full potential.
