My lessons are designed to be practical, engaging and focused on helping you use English confidently in real-life situations.

Each lesson is adapted to your current level, goals and interests. We can work on speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading, writing or a combination of these depending on what you want to achieve.

I like to use a simple structure:

* **Warm-up:** A short conversation to get you speaking and identify areas we can work on.
* **Learning:** We introduce and practise new vocabulary, grammar or language skills.
* **Practice:** You use what you've learned through conversations, questions, role-plays and practical exercises.
* **Feedback:** I'll highlight what you're doing well and explain how you can improve naturally and effectively.
* **Application:** We'll finish by putting the new language into a realistic situation so you can use it outside the lesson.

I particularly enjoy helping students develop **confidence in spoken English**. Rather than simply memorising rules, you'll have opportunities to speak and practise English in situations that are relevant to you — whether that's travelling, meeting new people, studying, preparing for an interview, communicating at work or simply becoming more comfortable having conversations in English.

My background in **law, business and professional communication** also allows me to bring a professional and structured approach to lessons, particularly for students who want to improve their English for academic or workplace situations.

Most importantly, I want lessons to feel comfortable and encouraging. Making mistakes is a normal part of learning a language, so we'll use mistakes as opportunities to improve rather than something to be embarrassed about.
