I am an experienced tutor with 2 years of experience, specialising in GCSE/A-Level Psychology and GCSE/A-Level English Literature and English Language. Having recently completed these qualifications myself, I understand the pressures students face, allowing me to explain difficult concepts in a clear, relatable, and effective way.

My lessons are highly structured and focused on exam preparation, exam technique, and achieving top marks. I believe success is not just about knowing the content, but about understanding exactly how to apply knowledge in the way examiners expect. For Psychology, I focus on helping students master key studies, evaluation points, and essay structure to develop high-level analytical responses. For English Literature and Language, I teach students how to approach exam questions, structure analytical essays, develop perceptive interpretations, and use evidence effectively to meet top-band mark scheme criteria.

A key part of my teaching involves working through past paper and exam-style questions, breaking down mark schemes, and showing students exactly how to approach each question with confidence. I use active recall techniques, targeted practice, and personalised word banks to strengthen memory, improve subject vocabulary, and ensure long-term retention of key content.

Every lesson is tailored to the student’s individual strengths and areas for improvement. I identify gaps quickly and create focused strategies to address them. My goal is to help students build confidence, develop strong exam technique, and achieve the highest grades possible through engaging, supportive, and results-driven lessons.
