I pay attention to preparation, planning and production. I believe the best tutor aligns teaching with needs of the individual. Once the educational needs are identified, delivery of lessons becomes easier. I set targets and focus on achieving them. I deeply analyse the progression, use a range of methodology whether it be teacher led, student led or a mixed method. I try to impart most knowledge and test it with a range of techniques. I ensure the individual has progressed and moved on in their achievements. I believe versatility creates the opportunity to progress. Each lesson is tailored according to the individual ability and through rigorous training and teaching, the individual can realise their full potential to adapt to the teaching methodology. The results of progression are means tested in my lesson. I believe in monitoring and reviewing the development of each student, evaluating their ability as I deliver my lessons based on knowledge, acquired skills and the need to develop further in he English language use and application. I implement strategies that could be useful in development of each student to be more confident in gaining the skills they require to progress. Each student is unique in their learning style and their needs differ in the same classroom. It’s my job to standardise that and mainstream the lesson according to each learner’s ability and needs. I carry out needs assessment, level assessment and design my lessons according to the individual learning plan. I achieved my goals through careful planning and delivery.
