Dr Nada Saadaoui

I am a PhD-qualified English Literature educator with experience teaching English language and literacy to learners from diverse backgrounds. My lessons are friendly, supportive and tailored to each student’s individual level, goals and learning style.

I can support students with English language, English literature, reading comprehension, academic writing, essay writing, grammar, vocabulary, creative writing, literary analysis and critical thinking. I can also help university students develop their academic writing, research and analytical skills.

My lessons combine clear explanations with practical activities and guided practice. We will begin by identifying your goals and areas for improvement, and I will then structure lessons around your individual needs. Depending on the subject, lessons may include discussion, close reading, vocabulary and grammar work, writing exercises, textual analysis, model answers and constructive feedback. I aim to break difficult concepts into manageable steps and gradually help students become more confident and independent.

I hold a PhD in English Literature from the University of Cumbria, as well as an MA in Literature, Romanticism and the English Lake District and a BA (Hons) in English Language, Literature and Civilisation. I have experience teaching English language and literacy in an international school and have also delivered educational workshops, lectures and talks.
