I believe that the more fun you have while learning the more you will retain. Many things can be done in a class to help students remember the target language that doesn't include boring old repetition. Relating the target language to your life helps personalise it and make it relevant. My lessons are interesting, relevant and engaging. Your success means my success and I love to succeed.

My lessons are tailored to your level, taking you from zero to hero as quickly and efficiently as possible without skipping the tedious grammar lessons. While grammar is the lifeblood of English, there is no need to suffer through it in lessons. I introduce it in simple language, then relate the rules to your life and give you plenty of examples and opportunities to experience the rules in action.

I make error corrections as inconspicuously as possible during the class and send feedback with more detailed explanations after class. Unless your error is causing confusion or impeding your understanding, they can be allowed to slip (unless they are repeated often and are in danger of becoming a bad habit). I am not here to be an English language policeman, and I make learning my language a task to endure and ticked off. I am here to help you enjoy this awesome language and learn how to negotiate your global life with it.

I also do IELTS preparation and mostly use the material that the British Council recommends to help students navigate the 4 areas of the test.

You can also bring material to class if you need help. For example, if you need help with a presentation, preparing for an interview, or editing your essay. I am open to helping you however I can.
