Hi! I’m Myfanwy — a bilingual (Welsh & English) MSc Clinical Psychology and Mental Health student with practical experience supporting individuals across clinical, educational, and community settings. My lessons are tailored, supportive, and interactive, focusing on building confidence and breaking down complex psychological theories into clear, manageable parts that are easy to understand.

I use real-life examples, case studies, interactive discussions, and revision strategies to help you fully engage with the material. Whether you're preparing for exams, coursework, university applications, or simply want to deepen your understanding, I structure sessions to suit your individual learning style and personal academic goals. Together, we’ll focus on mastering key concepts, developing critical thinking, and building strong essay-writing, research, and analytical skills that are essential for a career in psychology.

My experience includes working as an Assistant Psychologist at Swansea Bay Hospital, where I conduct assessments and contribute to clinical formulations. I’ve also volunteered for SHOUT Crisis Text Line, providing mental health support, and have worked with children and young people through roles in education, childcare, and musical workshops with ABC of Opera. This wide range of experience allows me to bring both academic knowledge and real-world insights to my teaching, helping students at various stages of their educational journey.

I aim to create a relaxed, encouraging, and enjoyable learning environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and making consistent progress. My ultimate goal is to help you feel confident and capable in your studies, regardless of your current stage.

I look forward to supporting you on your psychology journey!
