My lessons are structured around the individual student and the areas where they need the most support.

I normally start by understanding the student's current level, exam board, target grade and any topics they find difficult. I then explain the concepts step by step using clear examples before moving on to practice questions and exam-style problems.

For GCSE and A Level Maths, I use a combination of topic-based learning, worked examples, school materials, past-paper questions and exam practice. I also focus on helping students understand why a method works rather than simply memorising steps.

I have previous teaching experience alongside an engineering and IT professional background, and I enjoy explaining technical subjects in a simple and practical way.

Lessons can be online or face to face, and I am happy for parents or students to share topics, worksheets or upcoming test areas in advance so that I can prepare a focused lesson.

My aim is to build confidence, strengthen understanding and help students make steady progress towards their academic goals.
