I am a big believer of having interactive sessions. In my experience a student's ability to grasp new concepts is enhanced when a two way street of communication is established. Students are encouraged to ask as many questions as they like if they do not understand the underlying concept. I have been involved in peer tutoring quite extensively before. I have been a teaching assistant during my undergraduate studies and regularly kept extra teaching tutorials for the students outside the normal lecture hours. I also have experience in delivery crash course style sessions as well that highlight the important topics of a said syllabus right before a major exam. The content of the lecture is tailored to a student's requirement, their year of study, and their general aptitude of the subject. The aptitude is gauged by some basic questions about the subject that gives me the idea of where a student stands and how much time is required to be put in to attain the desired understanding of the individual's syllabus.
