After almost twenty years of living and working overseas, my family and I have recently moved back to the UK.
I am a dynamic, proactive, dedicated, and professional instructor who has done a great deal to promote my skills to become an expert in my field. I embrace learning, career and life with energy, passion and positivism and am driven by a need to succeed and empower the disadvantaged. I believe success is self-fulfilment and contentment. I have a wonderful rapport with people of all ages, coupled with the talent and ability to connect with my students to teach from simple concepts to more advanced topics. My long experience within the pressure-filled hospitality industry has made me a very level-headed person who can handle a variety of situations. I possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the drive and ambition to rise to a new challenge.
I have many years of experience in teaching in many levels of English (Language & Literature) along with IBDP English B, American AP Language and Composition, IGCSE, PET, FCE, ESOL, EAP and ESP, to different groups of students of various ages and abilities. On top of this, I am a former IELTS Speaking and Writing examiner and have years of experience in preparing students to sit IELTS examinations. Furthermore, I have a number of years experience teaching Geography at secondary school level.
