I am a dynamic, proactive, dedicated, and professional instructor who has worked hard to develop my expertise in my field. I embrace learning, career, and life with energy, passion, and optimism, and I am driven by a need to succeed and empower the disadvantaged. I believe success is self-fulfilment and contentment. I have an excellent rapport with people of all ages and the ability to connect with my students, teaching from simple concepts to more advanced topics. My extensive experience in the high-pressure hospitality industry has made me a very level-headed person who can handle a wide range of situations. I possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the drive and ambition to take on new challenges.
I have many years of experience in teaching at various levels of English (Language & Literature), along with IBDP English B, AP Language and Composition, IGCSE, PET, FCE, ESOL, EAP and ESP, to different groups of students of various ages and abilities. On top of this, I have many years of experience in preparing students to sit IELTS examinations.
I am actively involved in all aspects of learner development, including curriculum development, student career preparation, and community activities. Combining a strong passion for English with my technical knowledge and experience, I can motivate and inspire students by creating an enjoyable and challenging learning environment.
My lesson plan allows for this spontaneous discovery while also providing directives toward specific goals. I present students with the fundamentals of the subject, real-world examples, and a collaborative forum to discuss options for addressing these issues and the reasons behind them. From this, the student will experience a 'hands-on' practical application of the learning process.
