I always start off by asking my students to use verbs, nouns and adjectives they aren’t familiar with to describe their week/weekend to me. I like to use games to make studying English fun, giving them complicated English tongue-twisters. I would then play introductory videos as listening activities and play games on the whiteboard to try out functionality. I would set tasks such as creative writing and their own review of a book I have selected for each student (depending on their level) and make it a memorable and joyful way of teaching.
