I have been writing in English for 16 years and teaching English Comprehension and Public speaking for the last 10 years. You, as a student, will learn hands-on English skills through topical lessons that range from learning to talk about your feelings; telling travel stories; sharing experiences in English; and making English speeches and presentations.
Because of my education in Mass Communication, and my English journalism background, I have practical tips that have helped many of my students to become better English communicators. I have mostly taught students between the ages of 19 and 50 years, but I do also have experience of teaching school students as a private tutor.
My teaching style is about facilitating the learning. I don't each English, but I facilitate my students in a way that they end up learning to speak and write English correctly. I take a problem-solving approach to learning the language, wherein, students are put in real-life situations to learn thinking, reasoning and communication skills.
I have a deep knowledge of the English Grammar, I refer to Wren and Martin as my Go-To Grammar book, and I also evaluate and cross-check my own English writing using editing skills that I have nurtured over the years.
