I am a patient, supportive, and dedicated Maths teacher who enjoys helping students understand mathematics in a clear and simple way. I understand that many learners feel nervous or confused about Maths, so I focus on building confidence first and then developing understanding step by step. I believe that with the right guidance, encouragement, and practice, every student can improve in Maths.
My teaching style is calm, friendly, and learner-centred. I take time to understand each student’s level, strengths, and areas where they need support. Lessons are well organised but flexible, allowing me to adjust the pace according to the student’s needs. I explain concepts using simple language, real-life examples, and step-by-step methods so students can follow easily and feel confident in their learning.
I support students with a wide range of topics including basic numeracy, problem-solving, fractions, percentages, decimals, algebra, geometry, and exam preparation. I encourage students to think logically and develop problem-solving skills rather than memorising rules. Regular practice, guided questions, and clear explanations help students strengthen their understanding and accuracy.
Creating a positive learning environment is very important to me. I encourage students to ask questions freely and see mistakes as part of the learning process. I provide regular feedback, praise effort, and help students recognise their progress. This approach helps students feel motivated and more confident in their abilities.
My main aim is not only to help students achieve better results but also to change their attitude towards Maths. I want students to feel comfortable, confident, and independent in their learning. Whether a student needs help with homework, school topics, or exam revision, I am committed to providing supportive and effective Maths teaching.
