Sessions begin with a brief recap of previous learning to reinforce understanding and build confidence, followed by focused teaching on key maths topics such as arithmetic, fractions, percentages, word problems, and mathematical reasoning. Concepts are explained step by step, ensuring pupils fully understand methods rather than relying on memorisation.

Lessons include guided and independent practice using SATs-style questions, helping pupils become familiar with exam language, question types, and time management. Clear working, accuracy, and exam technique are emphasised throughout. Support is adapted in real time, allowing explanations to be adjusted where needed to maximise progress.
