Since my A levels, I have been looking for an opportunity to distribute my knowledge. From this, I have ironed out a simple and effective structure to my lessons. I will admit that this method is one I learned whilst at university.

Theory-
Introduction to topic will be discussed in detail. The student will need to focus the most here as every piece of information is vital to their learning.

Important Formulas-
You will be made aware precisely which purpose every formula is used for, why we do it and if needed, a derivation.

Tutorials-
A chance for you to take the knowledge you now have and, consolidate it. During these parts of the sessions, I will distribute worksheets to each student for them to complete. These will contain problems that need to be solved concerning the knowledge and theory we have just discussed in fine detail.

Interactive feedback-
At the end of each session I will complete and discuss each problem on the worksheet and, you will have a chance to ask me as many questions as you would like to further your learning and consolidate your knowledge.

Please note that this isn’t how your session must go. In layman’s terms, I can adjust to whatever learning style you need to help cater to you. Alternatively if you are only after certain parts of the structure I have offered then, I would be more than happy to go through whatever it is you are struggling or, need a bit more help with.
