I have 1 year of prior tutoring experience with GCSE students and assisted them into achieving top grades in their final exams. My lessons are interactive and relaxed as I understand students work best when comfortable.

My format I use to tutor students usually follows this route:

10 - 15 minutes Starter/Brain Teaser Question which I then explain and answer with the student.

40 - 45 minutes Main lesson
1) Explain the lesson and learning objectives
2) Teach the formulae and theory behind the topic
3) Work through a few examples with the involvement of the student
4) Hand out worksheets progressing from basic to advanced questions
5) Go through the answers and help explain anything unclear
6) Work through a 1 or 2 exam style and real life questions

5 - 10 minutes Summary
Run a short interactive activity to ensure everything is fully understood
