I’ve spent the last two years tutoring math online, and what I love most about it is seeing students gain confidence step by step. Being patient and understanding is at the heart of my approach—I know math can feel tough sometimes, and everyone learns differently. That’s why I take time to really get to know each student’s unique style and needs.

My favorite way to teach follows a simple but effective method: I like to start by letting students try problems on their own (“You Do”) so they can explore and think independently. Then, we work through it together (“We Do”), where I guide them through any tricky parts without giving away the answer. Finally, I demonstrate (“I Do”) the solution, showing clear examples they can refer back to. This back-and-forth builds understanding rather than just memorizing steps.

Teaching online has its own perks—I use interactive tools and visuals to keep lessons engaging and hands-on, even through a screen. I’m not just here to help with homework, but to make math feel approachable and even fun.
