I use power-points, weekly assessments, retrieval starters and exam practice to insure the student understand the concept.
Retrieval starters are usual one or two questions at the beginning of the lesson based on something we have studied prior.

Mathematics is a subject that requires repetition to understand. I make sure to go at the pace of the student and well as used virtual learning to their advantage by using shapes or objects.

Once I complete the lesson I will go over keywords that must be understood to maintain a solid base performance. These keywords will be used throughout therefore having a clear understanding is pivotal in the progress of the student.
