Mrs Susanne Jane Quinn

As a teacher, coach and experienced senior leader in main stream and SEND I specialise in confidence boosting and resilience building for children and young people.
With over thirty years experience in education working as a teacher and headteacher in schools colleges and as a chair of Governors in a primary school I have significant experience of the barriers to learning and education. I have significant experience of social, emotional and mental health conditions as well as special needs and children with education health and care plans.
My approach is person centred around the needs and abilities of the child. I work across all the key subjects of engish, maths and science from key stage 2 to post sixteen. I also have a sound understanding and experience of a range of post sixteen vocational subjects.
My teaching methods focus on independence, developing an enquiring mind and underpin the principles of personal development.
I am not just a tutor I offer the opportunity to develop the whole education environment for children and young people.
Personal Learning Plans will be constructed on an individual basis constructed after an initial assessment of needs and learning goals that are desired.
