My lessons are structured, engaging and individually tailored to each student. We begin by identifying your current level, strengths, areas for development and personal goals. I then create a focused learning plan designed around your specific needs. As a current Further Education teacher, I hold an enhanced DBS certificate and work within established safeguarding and professional teaching standards.

Each lesson normally includes:

• A short recap to reinforce previous learning
• Clear explanations and step-by-step demonstrations
• Focused activities targeting areas of weakness
• A variety of approaches to find the method that works best for you
• Guided practice followed by independent questions
• Regular checks for understanding and constructive feedback
• GCSE-style questions and examination techniques where appropriate

I currently teach Aeronautical Engineering at a technical college, so I regularly use practical engineering and real-world examples to make Maths and Physics more meaningful and easier to understand.

I can also support learners with SEND, adapting the pace, structure, resources and teaching approach to suit individual needs. I use clear instructions, manageable steps, repetition and varied activities to create an inclusive and supportive learning experience.

My teaching style is patient, supportive and highly engaging. I encourage students to ask questions, develop confidence and understand the reasoning behind a method; not simply memorise steps. Progress is reviewed regularly so that lessons remain appropriately challenging and focused on achieving positive results.
