I have experience working with staff and students who suffer from complex mental Illnesses.
I have experience coaching and guiding students to ensure they maximise their potential in a safe space. I also have experience working with neurodivergent students. I have additional training working with Autism and ADHD clients.
Working for LCK Academy as a Wellbeing Officer was like “breaking ice” around the mental health struggles. Many students and staff kept their distance, mistrusting me and fearing judgment. I had to offer the extra mile to show the team how important it is to get the right support to get a successful outcome. It was hard to rebuild trust and promote well-being from a positive perspective. My determination and commitment to LCK Academy showed that it is possible to open up and share concerns. Being resilient and working as a team was the right way to move forward.

I am an Integrative Therapist, which gives me the ability to be creative with the support.
My work is about building a trusting relationship with a non-judgmental approach. I have experience working with students and staff who are coming from multicultural backgrounds.
I have experience creating Support Plans with staff and students to guide them in achieving their goals.
I have experience creating reports and presentations to measure the work.
I am highly skilled, compassionate, and empathic, and I can provide solution–oriented support in one-to-one and group settings.
I am an effective motivator, communicator, and advocate for proactively resolving issues, as well as meeting and achieving challenging goals and objectives.
I have proven leadership skills, being an Area Manager for a local charity and in successful staff development and group facilitation, supervising and working with 500 volunteers and staff for over 10 years ( St Luke’s Hospice). I have experience in supervising the team.
I am collaborative and consistently recognised for my ability to establish and maintain solid relationships with co-workers, administration, and local and national agencies.
I possess strong IT and organisational skills.
I am creative, enthusiastic, initiative-taking, reliable, and detail-oriented.
I work under pressure and deliver my work on time ( I monitor and measure my work by regular meetings (MDT), supervision, appraisals, reports, Action Plans/ Safe Plans.
I am familiar with the Autism Act 2009, Mental Health Act 2005 and the Care Act 2014, Equality Act 2010.
