I am a native english speaker with experience tutoring in both spoken and written english. Professionally, I am an Events and Communications Manager, with over five years experience writing copy material for event promotion. My lessons can help you improve in whichever areas you believe can use a little (or a lot) more attention, whether it be vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, or intonation. I use a variety of teaching methods, from role playing and listening exercises to flashcards. I believe the best way to learn a language is to use the language. When you learn with me, I'll encourage you to get comfortable with the words and sentence structures we'll be reviewing through conversation, both in and out of the (virtual) classroom.

I think learning should be fun and happen in a safe environment. If you make mistakes, good! That's how you learn. I'll make sure you walk away from the lesson not only understanding the topic of the day but excited to come back for a new one.

I have also experienced my own struggles when it comes to learning a language - I'm currently tackling Italian - and understand how frustrating it can be trying to master a new tongue. I'll make sure to guide you through your lessons with the same compassion and patience I practice in my own lessons.
