Moni Aksdal

I have substantial experience, teaching key stage 4 and 5 internationally, in schools and colleges, face to face and online to a very high standard. During my 26-year teaching career, I have delivered courses from the majority of exam boards available. GCSE and IGCSE, A-Level, BTEC Levels 1-3 National and UAL Level 1-3 but mainly Level 3 with expertise in Art, Art and Design, Graphic Design and Photography, including dark room practices. I have worked in the industry over the course of my teaching career and had my own work exhibited, latest in China 2023. I worked in China from 2020 to 2022 where I delivered prestigious A-level courses for students who aimed for University in the UK and the US. The challenge here was language, and to bring out the best vocabulary, technical knowledge and descriptive language, essay writing, analysis and evaluation techniques. All students exceeded expectations and were successful, gaining entry to their first choices. Currently I work part in a FE College, delivering Level 3 UAL. I am looking forwards to scheduling some great tutorials with students who need that extra push to become brilliant.
