Hello! My name is Molly, I currently study Art at Robert Gordon's University and am coming to the end of my first year. I studied both N5 and Higher art in secondry school so I have a wide understanding of what exams are like and how to pass them as I got As in both. I can teach and assist with both written work and the practical side of Art and Design. I would be best suited to teach National 5 art however I would be proficient in Higher art too. I also studied Art at North East Scotland College (NESCol) which gave me new insights into teaching styles and different types of art practice. My teaching style is based on the individuals ways of thinking and working through tasks. I understand how difficult exams, and written work especially, can be and have found ways of dealing with that myself, I would be more than happy to share those methods. Lessons would typically look like breaking down what needs to be done into a checklist before starting on some warmup exercises, then tackling the bulk of the work and finally returning to look over what has been done that session to conclude. I can also provide different ways of explaining things which may make more sense than how a teacher would as I have first hand experience with the subject. If any of this sounds like it would be helpful to you please feel free to contact me, it would be lovely to hear from you.
