I'm a first generation, second year Politics with International Relations student at The University of York, hoping to provide help for those trying to make the next step in their academic journey. As your tutor, I would aim to provide a strong foundational knowledge, returning to the basics and building from there in order for us to be able to identify where your weaknesses are so we can improve upon them, whilst also letting you take the lead on what we cover. I have experienced with being tutored, and largerly credit my tutor for the reason I made it through my maths and science GCSES- I know what it is to struggle academically and want to provide a judgement free working environment, in which we can work to your strengths to address whatever gaps may be present within your knowledge. I am based online, with sessions being scheduled around by university and work timetable, as well as yours, but I do consider myself very flexible, and am willing to do up to 3 sessions a week if needed, particularly over the university breaks. I am mainly aiming to tutor in A Level Politics, specifically the EdExcel board, but am also able to cover A Level Classics (OCR), GCSE History, GCSE English Language and GCSE Literatute.
