I have always had a great interest in english, both as a language and within artistic texts. I studied English language and literature at A-Level and achieved an A*, and I am keen to help other people perform highly in the subject, at all ages.

I have a strong understanding of both the language side of english (grammar, linguistics, syntax) and also the more abstract literary side. I can help students find meaning within texts and format essays for the best results possible.
Due to my age, I have only recently left school and am therefore very familiar with current exam boards and mark schemes, meaning I am able to structure essays and lessons carefully and help students work in a way that exams and schools look for moving forward into 2023.

I like to teach interactively, with lots of working examples and quizzes along the way to help test and cement knowledge. I am friendly and approachable and will always be happy to help with any questions or concerns both from students and parents. My online lessons come with powerpoint resources and optional out of lesson work to complete on the students current topic of study/as a follow up from our lesson. And students are permitted to email with any concerns about work or tests out of lesson hours too.
