In the first lesson, I tend to get a feel of what students are like, such as: their skill level, learning methodologies and their aims. Afterwards, I do interactive slideshows and worksheets where the student can understand maths in a way that is specifically tailored to them. Furthermore, I set assignments on fun game-like websites such as blooket or gimkit. How am I qualified for this? I have achieved 160 on my 11 plus (particularly excelling at maths) and I am headed towards a grade 9 GCSE maths and further maths qualification. In addition to this, I have tutored many primary school students who have passed their 11 plus (also excelling at maths). As I am younger than most tutors, I can teach in a way that students will find innovative and engaging.
