Mohammed Ridwanul Islam

Hi, I'm Ridwan, a Physics graduate from Queen Mary University of London and a Teach First trainee currently completing my PGCE in Secondary Mathematics. Teaching isn't just my job, it's what I'm genuinely passionate about, and that shows in every lesson I teach.

My lessons are one-to-one and built entirely around you. Before we start, I take the time to understand your current level, the exam board you're following, and exactly where you're struggling, so every session is targeted rather than generic. I combine clear, step-by-step explanations with plenty of practice, working through past papers together so you walk into your exam knowing exactly what to expect, not just the theory behind it.

My experience speaks for itself: over 700 hours of tutoring in Maths, Physics and Biology, supporting students from SATs and 11+ right through to GCSE and A-Level. I've also worked with The Ogden Trust to teach Physics and Mathematics in schools, giving me real, hands-on classroom experience working directly with pupils, alongside my private tutoring. Beyond tutoring, I've completed a research project analysing online science communication, currently under review for publication in Humanities and Social Sciences Communications.
