About me

I am currently studying Computer Science in the University of Edinburgh. My academic success (2 A*s 2As in A level and 6 level 9s, 2 level 8s in GCSE) are through my perspective on learning and studying.

With maths in particular, I focus on my students' weaknesses and turn them into strengths by focusing on helping them build an intuitive and foundational mental model of the concepts they are taught.

I work by guiding their learning towards the bigger picture. With my instruction, they are able to relate concepts together and their knowledge will be firmly crystallised as a result.

To achieve this, I break concepts down in simple terms, see real life examples of applications, use a variety of media such as images, texts and animations as well give them lots and lots of practice questions.
